Main Goal: Change of energy behavior at the individual/family level
Participants: Students, Teachers, Parents, Businesses
Key Features:
- Creation of the initial energy profile based on daily habits – Completing a questionnaire through the app.
- Monthly activities and competitions that promote behavior change, with various themes ⇾ Improvement of the energy profile.
- Participants with the highest engagement and the greatest change in energy behavior will be rewarded at the project’s final event.
The first phase aims to create a personal energy "baseline", that is, the initial profile of each participant regarding their daily habits, household energy consumption, and the characteristics of their home.
The content of the Energy Footprint Tracker includes:
- Home information: Age, insulation, orientation, area
- Electrical appliances: Types, number, method, and frequency of use
- Heating/Cooling: Method, settings, operating duration
- Use of natural light / shading: How much it is used during the day
- Consumption data: (optional) from electricity bills
- Renewable energy sources: Presence of a solar water heater, photovoltaics, etc.
