- Mobile Application: It enables end-user participation through features connected to the web platform, enhancing interaction and raising awareness among stakeholders.


OUR PROJECT
EnerWise Project
The Project EnerWise It addresses the challenges of energy consumption in school communities by developing and testing a socio-technical solution focused on monitoring, education, and behavior change. The goal is to create a smart, sustainable, and energy-efficient learning environment through the integration of technologies. IoT, data analysis, and community engagement mechanisms.
The solution EnerWise It is based on two interconnected pillars, as described below.
Community Engagement and Behavior Change Mechanism
A set of scalable and transferable interventions will be implemented, targeting students, parents, teachers, and administrative staff. These include:
- Workshops: Awareness and empowerment events, supported by digital educational materials.
- Quizzes: Knowledge assessment tools before and after the intervention regarding sustainable energy habits.
- Citizen Science Activities: Local gatherings for exchanging energy-saving practices.
- Energy Saving Challenges Competitions with incentives within communities to reduce consumption.
- Energy Cooperatives: Promotion of local energy communities with the support of organizations such as Electra Energy Cooperative.
- Business Participation: Support of initiatives from local businesses, e.g., by providing rewards.
- Community Ambassadors Identification and empowerment of individuals to promote energy-efficient behaviors.
